A touching career highlight came from this unassuming costume. We sourced mostly vintage, circus themed patches from all over ebay to make this one special. Two different jaded adult former scouts completely lit up when they saw the patches: one person excused themselves before they became emotional, and the other who had been otherwise disengaged was suddenly giving a neckerchief tying demonstration. Both of these moments were so meaningful to me as a designer. It is such an honor to such spark joy and nostalgia through art 💗
